About the event
Do we think that the BEST books are banned? Well, Judy Silver and Monica Schaffer sure want to find out! We invite all interested readers to the Banned Book Babes book club, where we will read, discuss, and analyze the books that have been banned in Utah.
Banned Book Babes will cap at 25 participants. Our first meeting is on March 10th at Lectura Lounge: Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. Potluck dessert contributions are welcome and much appreciated.
The term “babes” refers to all genders, and the only requirement for admission is to have read our first book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, by Stephen Chbosky, and to bring a book for a book swap!
